gfekComputing is a computer base institute that seek to educate people mainly in Ghana and Africa about technology and how to use them more efficiently.Nowadays children, youth and adults alike are growing up in a totally different world. The presence of a digitalized world is now more present in Ghana than ever before. Computers, mobile phones, automated machineries, social media, remote control systems and many more are all embedded in our lives. In fact, even toys are currently digital and many of them have programs.
Many people in Ghana have no or little knowledge about how to effectively these new technologies system and devices, and protect themselves from abuse and frauds.
Dr Myles Munroe once said, “When purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable”.
To help people understand how to make use of these new rapidly emerging technology in Ghana gfekComputing is born. Our aim is to educate the public on how to use more effectively these technology and make the best out of them.
About Etornam Futey, Founder of gfekComputing
Etornam Futey is a young energetic graduate from Ho Technical University in Electrical Electronic Engineering. He got passionate about computing and IT related staff when he was in school.After the national Service in Kumasi as a teacher, he develop more skills in teaching ICT to JHS students for 2 years. After his sojourn in Kumasi, he now lived in Accra where he is currently teaching ICT and French to children at Middleton International School – a British Curriculum based school for the past two years.
It was at Middleton School that he develop passion to teach children programming due mainly to the fact that the British Curriculum introduce computer science to kids at a very early stage.
Now after a divine revelation from God while seeking to find his purpose on earth founded gfekComputing to help mainly in the advancement of the Kingdom of God, by helping the poor, needy, and the Body of Christ through gfekComputing.
He also wanted to help kids learn how to use technology more efficiently and wisely and develop their God given talents.
Etornam love to create new things and solve problem around him.
gfekComputing is and will remain God’s tool for blessing his people.
